is a new Craft Distillery dedicated to distilling and aging the highest quality Whiskeys and Rums.
It was founded with the goal of crafting the highest quality American spirits, in the spirit of the American craftsman.
The distillery became a dream for four friends who grew up together in Minnesota.
One fateful day in March of 2014 they met up for drinks and started talking about going into business for themselves. A distillery fit well into their skill sets, and thus 10,000 Drops was born.
All rides are delivered by FAA Certificated Commercial Glider Pilots or FAA Certificated Glider Flight Instructors.
Please feel welcome to come down and watch the operation for a while if you like.
The graceful launching and landing of sailplanes is something that even long-time glider pilots never get tired of watching. Bring something to drink, a picnic lunch, a hat, sunglasses, and a camera. If the schedule permits, we will be happy to show you the engineering behind today's sailplanes and answer any questions you may have.
Or you may simply sit quietly at a picnic table and observe.
Of course, we cannot guarantee a ride unless a reservation has been made. Then again...if you came to watch and then decided to soar, don't hesitate to ask.
We had a best stay!!
It was much more than we expected. The place was clean and spacious.
There was enough coffee there to brew two or three pots for a short trip. Appliances were clean. Towels and bed linens were soft. Toiletries for included in the counter in the bathroom.
Closet space was luxurious, complete with private washer and dryer! Location was perfect as the restaurant downstairs is delicious and has a great “flavor” of small town Minnesota! I highly recommend this place to anybody, and we are hoping to be back for another stay again soon!
